Westen's first day at all day Kindergarten at Saint Dominics and Ryder's First day of Preschool at Hand in hand :)

 I sent Westen and Ryder off to the first day of school today!  I cannot believe I have two boys in School!  Westen started All day Kindergarten at Saint Dominic's and Ryder is going to preschool Tues/Thurs am at Hand in Hand Nursery School.  The boys were super excited and couldn't get out the door fast enough this morning. 

It really sunk in to me last night that I was sending my boys off to school.  I was kinda sad, Westen is going to be gone Monday- Friday from 7am-3:30pm!  I am going to miss my little buddy!  So is Ryder and Gus, they have so much fun playing together they are going to get bored with out all the action at our house!  Our whole family walked Westen to the bus stop this morning and waved goodbye to him at 7am :(  Then we hoped in the car and headed to Saint Dominic's to make sure that Westen made it ok!  I was worried because he had a bus transfer at the middle school, but he did it! Yeah!  I got teary eyed again when I saw him getting off the bus at school but he looked super excited to begin his day :)

Ryder Was super excited also and wanted lots of pictures, because he said he needed to see his cool school all the time!  He is such a goofball!  Ryder jumped right in and could of cared less if I left. 
Well it's just Augustus and I a few days a week,  It would be good one on one time for us :)

4th of July and Summer Fun!

We are having a Super Fun Summer! We have been busy going to the zoo, bike rides, parks, gardening and taking care of the animals at the farm :)  They had a ton of fun at the 4th of July Parade, they decorated there bikes with 4th of July Bling! it was fun this year because they helped decorate there own bikes

Westen loves riding his bike and Gus and Ryder ride along on the bike caboose and we are off everyday :)  There favorite place is the my parents farm, the kids beg to go there every day.  They love feeding the horses, getting eggs from the chickens.  They jump on the trampoline and help me weed in the garden well for about two minutes and then it's off to dig in the mud or catch frogs. 


Little Gus is on the move, he doesn't hold still for a sec and he's off onto an adventure, trying to keep up with his big brothers or exploring on his own.  Ryder loves feeding the horse and riding the power wheels!  Westen is very imaginative he loves to play star wars and his newest obsession is Harry Potter.


We have meet up with many friends this summer and enjoyed parks, zoos and much more! We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family.  :)

Happy 3rd Birthday Ryder William Wendling 5/12/2008

The Wendling Boys visit the Easter Bunny :)

Derrick and I took the boys to visit the Easter Bunny at the Mall of America, They were so excited!  Ryder was a little nervous but gave the bunny a high five and a hug.  Major improvement from last year he wanted nothing to do with him.  Little Gus thought the bunny was funny, and Westen snuggled right up to the Easter Bunny.  It so so funny how all three boys are so different!

After visiting the Easter Bunny we went on rides at Nick Universe and the boys had a blast!  Westen was happy that Daddy was with so he could go on the wild crazy spinning rides that mommy's stomach can't handle!  Westen is 48 inches now so he can go on all of the adult rides, so he thinks he is pretty cool!  Ryder was sad he couldn't join in, but had fun on all of the kiddie rides, He laughed and laughed on the Wonderpets ride :) Little Gus was just along for the ride taking it all in! 

It was such a Fun Family Day for the Wendling's! :)

Winter Fun!

The Boys had fun making snowmen, I mean batman and robin snowmen. This year they knew how to roll their own snowballs :) Little Gus loved the snow but he doesn't like to keep his mittens on so momma has to continuously put them back on.  We got a lot of snow this year and it was a fun winter, lots of playing outside in the snow, sledding, making snowmen, forts snowball fights :)

Westen's 5th Birthday

Westen had a blast at his birthday party :)  He celebrated his actual birthday at school with all his friends and they had a beach party at school!  Then on Sunday he had a swimming party with all of his friends and he had a blast!
